Efficient Routing For High-Mobility Multi Hop Cognitive Radio Networks

چکیده
In high-mobility cognitive radio networks (CRNs), the fast topology changes increase the complexity of the routing scheme. In this paper, we propose a novel CRN routing scheme that considers the path stability and node capacity. First, a realistic mobility model is proposed to describe the movement of highly mobile airborne nodes and estimate the link stability performance based on node movement patterns. Second, we propose a CRN topology management scheme based on a clustering model that considers radio link availability, and the cluster heads (CHs) are selected based on the node degree level, the average number of hops, and channel switching from member nodes to the CH. Third, we propose two new common control channel (CCC) selection schemes based on the node contraction concept and the discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm. Our simulation results show that our proposed CCC selection scheme has high throughput and small transmission time. Keywords— CRN, SDR, Bird Flocking Model, Swarm Optimization & Node Contraction Scheme.

Broadcast Routing in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks: A Particle Swarm optimization Approach
While routing in multi-hop packet radio networks (static Ad-hoc wireless networks), it is crucial to minimize power consumption since nodes are powered by batteries of limited capacity and it is expensive to recharge the device. This paper studies the problem of broadcast routing in radio networks. Given a network with an identified source node, any broadcast routing is considered as a directed...
متن کاملThe Feedback Based Mechanism for Video Streaming Over Multipath Ad Hoc Networks
Ad hoc networks are multi-hop wireless networks without a pre-installed infrastructure. Such networks are widely used in military applications and in emergency situations as they permit the establishment of a communication network at very short notice with a very low cost. Video is very sensitive for packet loss and wireless ad-hoc networks are error prone due to node mobility and weak links. H...
متن کاملEnergy Efficient CCC based AODV Routing Protocol for Cognitive Radio Ad-Hoc Networks
Spectrum mobility in Cognitive radio ad-hoc networks introduces additional energy consumption apart from joint channel-path selection. Application data transmission in CR routing is based on channel-route path selected from common control channel (CCC). Hence, CCC plays a pivotal role in selecting and managing energy efficient channel-routes in Cognitive radio ad-hoc networks. State-of-the-art ...
متن کاملA graph based routing algorithm for multi-hop cognitive radio networks
Cognitive radio networks that allow dynamic spectrum access are considered spectrally more efficient than networks using fixed spectral allocation. These networks are characterized by dynamically changing channel sets at each node. The graph theoretic approach used in traditional multi-hop networks fails to efficiently model multi-hop cognitive radio networks and capture the required informatio...
